A beautiful art deco pink enamel topped bowl. Made in the extremely short reign of Edward VIII in 1936 before he abdicated to marry Mrs Simpson. The silversmith was Albert Carter who was famous for stunning Art Deco enamel pieces. This bowl has a star cut glass bottom with etched flowers on the side. The perfect pink enamel has flooded the engine turned silver and there is a rubbed but legible set of hallmarks on the rim. Overall it is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
