A gorgeous Edwardian silver Art Nouveau jewellery box. Made in Birmingham in 1906 by Henry Mathews. It sits on four feet styled as plants and has cast lillies on the lid. Inside has a blue velvet lined base and a gilded lid interior. There are a full set of crisp hallmarks on the base and part marks on the top. A stunning piece of Art Nouveau silver from Henry Mathews one of the most celebrated silversmiths of the period.
