A delightful George V silver snuff or pill box shaped as a curling stone. It was made in Birmingham in 1913 by James Fenton. It is fully hallmarked and has a gilded interior. The lid is tight fitting and other than very slight surface scratches it is in very good condition. A great present for a curling enthusiast or a silver box collector. Curling is widely considerd to be one of the world's oldest team sports originating in Scotland and the Netherlands in the 16th century.
