A stunning Victorian silver "castle top" card case depicting the Old Bridge at Perth. Made by Nathaniel Mills in Birmingham in 1850. It has incredibly crisp engraving with no wear to the high points which is normally seen on engraved cases. It is fully hallmarked on the inner lip. There are no damages or repairs and it is in amazing condition. The best I have seen. Very collectable and desirable. This is one of the rarest of Mill's engraved card cases.
WEIGHT; 73 grams or 2.3 ozst approx.
