A very rare George I Britannia silver kitchen pepper made in London in 1718 by William Looker. The traditionally styled silver kitchen pepper is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. The underneath has a great set of hallmarks and original marriage initials. Interestingly there is an original invoice from Tessiers of London for the sale of the pepper in 1948 at a price of £115.00 ,an eqivalant of £4600.00 in today's money. An excellent piece of early Georgian Britannia silver.
