A beautifull and unusual Victorian silver cup with a cover. It was made in Sheffield in 1884 by Roberts and Belks. It has a full set of hallmarks on the lip and sits on a single foot. The inside of the cup and cover are both gold washed or gilded. The cup is plain except for a gadrooned or reeded bottom part. A great gift, maybe a Christening present, a very useable item.
