An amazing pair of Victorian silver salt bowls. Made in London in 1850 by John Samuel Hunt. Hunt was a partner in the firm of Hunt and Roskell which were the successors to Storr, Mortimer and Hunt. This was where Paul Storr worked. The bowl is gilded inside and sits on three ornate feet. They are engraved with the crest of the 7th Earl of Glasgow. A stunning pair of salts made by one of the best English 19th century silversmiths.
