An absolutely stunning Victorian antique silver claret jug and rose bowl. Made in London in 1877 by John Newton Mappin and George Webb (Mappin and Webb). The jug and stand are in amazing condition with no damage or repairs. These are a matching set with matching crisp hallmarks on both items. For years I have hunted for a set like this and finally found them. They would look elegant on a dining room table or sideboard. British silver at its best.
