An extremely beautiful Victorian antique silver and agate brooch. Made in Scotland between 1860 and 1880, probably in Edinburgh given the high quality. It is the shape of a six petal flower with a six point star surrounding a citrine on the top. There is a mixture of 18 Montrose and moss agates with carnelians and blood stones. The brooch has a steel pin and a "C" clasp along with intricate engraving on the silver. It is very wearable and a rare collectible brooch.
Weight; 26 grams approx.
