A stunning Scottish antique silver and Montrose agate knot brooch. Probably made in Scotland and although unmarked it has tested as silver. These brooches were popularized by Queen Victoria in the second half of the 19th century. She gifted them to friends and employees. It has six hand cut Montrose agate stones. A very useable piece of jewellery and collectable too.
