A beautifully crafted and hand finished pair of heavy silver partridges. Made in the reign of Charles III in Sheffield. Both hallmarked on the tails with one bird in a stooping position. These would grace any table or sideboard and are so realistic. In the wild theses red legged partridges are found all over Europe and have a life span of about three years.
