A stunningly beautiful precious metal statue. It was made by jewellers and goldsmiths in the town of Pisac in Peru, they were renowned for working with the purist metals especially 95% silver and 22 carat gold. This I believe was made around 1960 and was part of a range of Inca warriors. The attention to detail is unbelievable, the silver and gold work along with superb enamelling. The detaing in the muscles, hair and facial features are so true to life. Quite probably one of the best pieces of silver and gold work I have seen. Pictures do not do it justice.
