A finely cast silver vesta box by Samson Mordan of London 1881. The front and back have cast figures of birds and flowers, the back also has an engraved set of letters "MCS". There are a full set of hallmarks on the inside lip and the top snaps closed tightly. The case is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. A rare addition to any collection.
