A very rare Scottish silver and agate jewellery box. Made as a special commission for a North East of Scotland Family by Hamilton and Inches of Edinburgh in 1932, a truely one off piece. The top has four quartz stones and a citrene set in it plus forty assorted agates between very intricate celtic engraving. There are numerous full sets of hallmarks and the whole body is supported by four beautifully cast Royal stags heads. The interior is lined with silk and the top is supported by a strong stand away hinge. This is a magnificent piece of craftsmanship and only ever owned by one family.
