An unusual George IV silver table snuff box with a rare hunting scene thumb piece. Made in London in 1825 by John Jones III. The box has engine turning on all panels with a vacant circular cartouche on the top. The interior has original gilding with hallmarks on the top and bottom. The box is in very good condition with some wear on the base. Otherwise there ia no damage or repairs. The 15 part hinge is tight and the lid closes well. An excellent piece for any collection.
