A stunning George III antique silver gilt table snuff box. Made in London in 1812 by Linnet and Atkinson. The cast box top portrays people dancing outside a tavern. The interior has original gilding and has a full set of hallmarks. Overall the box is in amzing condition given it is 212 years old. The cast top is very crisp with only a tiny bit of wear to the high points. The 9 part hinge is tight and the lid close well with a satisfying pop when it is opened. A great snuff box for any collection.
