An important George IV silver gilt snuff box. Made in London in 1828 by John Linnet. It has part hallmarks in the lid and a full set in the base. There is also a latin inscription inside the lid as well as the inside being fully gilded. The fourteen part hinge is tight and the lid closes well. A very collectable and rare example of a Georgian snuff box whixh is in excellent condition.
