Edwardian antique Scottish Provincial silver and horn snuff mull, Aberdeen 1904

A very rare antique Edwardian Scottish Provincial silver horn snuff mull. Made in Aberdeen by Charles Melvin in 1904. It was hallmarked in Edinburgh and made in Aberdeen. Overall it's in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. The silver disc on the top is blank and the expertly made lid closes crisply. A very collectable piece and probably only one of a very few made by Charles Melvin, a rarely seen Aberdeen maker.
