A stunning silver gilt snuff box made in Birmingham in 1829 by Ledsome Vale and Wheeler. This box is in amazing condition, the cast top has virtually no wear at all, by far the best cast top hunting box I have had. The detail is all still there, the riders faces, the detail on the horses and the trees. The interior has original gilding with hallmarks on the top and bottom. The 19 part hinge is tight and the lid closes well with no spring back. Just an incredable Georgian gilt snuff box.
