A very high quality Victorian silver sovereign holder. Made in Birmingham in 1893 by specialist maker Alfred Wigley. It is in very good condition with full hallmarks and a good spring where the coins go. It has fine engraving on the front and back and also has a suspension loop. A great piece for a collector.
