A beautiful Victorian silver and leather travelling inkwell. Made in London in 1862 by J. Walton. It is in exceptional undamaged condition and the spring loaded top works perfectly. There are a full set of hallmarks on the front and a crest on the top. The lid is opened by pushing the button on the front and the base is leather covered. A wonderful piece of Victorian engineering.
