Victorian antique silver and enamelled vesta case, Birmingham 1891

A stunning Victorian silver antique vesta case with an enameled top. Made in Birmingham in 1891 by an unknown maker "WM". The enamel top depicts a "Thelwell" style horse jumping a fence. There is engraving on the back and the enamel is in excellent undamaged condition. The lid snaps shut with a tight spring and there are good hallmarks on the inner lip. A beautiful vesta case that would grace any collection.
