A very scarce silver medicine spoon, made in Sheffield in 1936 by Charles James Allen. Used to administer liquid medicines to children and sick people, these spoons are quite rare in silver. This one was made during the very short reign of Edward the VIII before he abdicated. It is in excellent condition with a full set of hallmarks and a registration number (Rd.757667). It is engraved on the terminal "MMAW". a great piece for a medical collector.
