An exceptionally well made German silver swan with its original clear glass lining. Possibly made by the Nereshiemer company of Hannau who were well known for high quality birds and animals. There is a full set of hallmarks which are lightly struck and a bit rubbed. The swan is in good original condition. The bird's feathers are particularly well chased and defined.
