A very rare George III silver gilt agate snuff box. Made in London in 1805 by Phipps and Robinson. The agate top is in excellent condition as is the rest of the gilt box, with only slight wear to the gilding. The interior is fully gilded and has a full set of crisp hallmarks. The 9 part hinge is tight and the lid closes well. A wonderful George III snuff box and a rare piece for any collector.
