A stunning Victorian silver presentation table snuff box. Made in Birmingham in 1843 by Wheeler and Cronin. The box has a beautifully engraved coat of arms supposidly of Lady Jane Digby the famous 19th centry dessert adventurer. The 21 part hinge is tight and the lid fits well. The interior has original gilding, is fully hallmarked and has an engraved list of names dated January 29th 1845. Overall the box is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
