A stunning silver gilt cast top table snuff box. Made in London in 1824 by Edward Farrell. The top has a great 3D cast scene of five men listening to a seated man, as yet the scene has not been attributed to any particular event. The base, the lid and the cast top all have hallmarks. There is a stiff stand away hinge and the lid fits beautifully. The base has engraved flowers and the inside has original gilding. One of the best boxes I have ever had for sale. A must for any collector.
